I have tried to upload a few videos to show people what it means to be in Salvador during Carnival. Most of them are under a minute, so you won’t be bored. I am a more of a photographer than a cameraman, so beware.

This is from the first night in Campo Grande, where I was frisked by the military police.

On the second night, my friend André took me to his cousin’s house facing the Barra circuit where I met his cute 8-year-old son Vitório who makes a positive contribution to my ‘viral’ video below. And yes, I had the father’s permission to upload the video on YouTube.

On the fourth night, at André ‘s cousin’s house in Barra again, a Baiana shows everyone how it’s done.

And finally: capoeira dancing on the sixth night of carnival in Rua Chile. Pretty good going..
